Lately, I have been caught up in the whole, “Why is it not happening NOW?”
I have been journalling and reaffirming that everything happens for a reason, everything happens at the right time. However, deep down I am wondering when the fuck will it happen?
Then I realised.
It’s what I do every single day that creates the goals I will achieve.
I wrote for 30 minutes every single day and created my first eBook, “It’s Okay To Be Selfish.”
I said no to gluten, dairy and refined sugar every single day and lost 15kgs!
I sat down and listened to my coaches advice and then implemented it, every single day.
I focused on loving myself every single day which attracted my husband into my life.
And that has gotten me to where I am now! I can call myself an author. My health is the best it’s ever been. My hormones are the most balanced (and natural) they have ever been. I have the most freedom I have ever had with my career and can safely say I will never work a 9-5 again. I have a beautiful husband that supports me with everything I do. Life is beautiful.
I realised you won’t see results every single day. You won’t lose the weight you want to lose over night. You won’t have great health over night and you won’t 100% love yourself over night either. It all takes commitment, discipline and passion.
So this is just a reminder for those who are struggling everyday because nothing is happening.
Set goals, break each goal down and figure out what you need to do everyday to achieve that goal. Do the work, focus on the reason WHY this goal is important to you. Feel the emotions of achieving the goal like it’s already done, and just don’t stop.
Before you know it you will look back at your life and say, “holy fuck, look at all the things I have done and achieved.” Like I have.
I have non-negotiables every day that I must do that chip at my goals.
- Journal. If you want to know more about this you can read the blog I wrote about it, here.
- My supplements, thanks to my naturopath I have the best health I have ever had.
- My top 3 most important things to do, there’s a book on this called ‘Eat That Frog’
- Move my body; whether it’s yoga, walk the dogs, a circuit at gym, etc.
- Practicing gratitude.
If you would like more help with achieving your goals and learning the method I use to achieve every goal I set, you can join my online mentoring program here.
So tell me, what do you do everyday to achieve your goals?
It’s okay to be selfish.
Loves and hi-fives,
